Australia vs Sweden

Hello! Now I'm sitting on the plane back home to Sweden from Australia. The journey was fantastic and i would like do share the diffrent between Australia and Sweden.

In Australia they have a law that you need to have school uniforms and in Sweden you dont have school uniforms. I think that school uniforms is rather good because it's boring to have the same clothes everyday but it's good because you dont have to get bullied of you clothes.

 Australia has left traffic so it was a bit scary when you would go across the road because you had to think twice before you went over the road and it was difficult to drove motorcicle in left traffic.

 Australians is much more healthier then in Sweden, they are running after the beaches, working out on the beaches and they are dancing in the parks. In Sweden we are a bit more lazy and we are just exercising in the gym.

The Wallis

The Wallis

Today we have been and visited an Australien family called Wallis here in Cairns. We met the family at our relatives house and they invited us to their house for dinner. The family was very nice and fun. In their family it was the dad Ray, the mom Marie and the son Noah. It all started from that me and Noah played fotboll and then he asked me if I and my family wanted to come over and eat dinner and play football. we asked our parents and they said yes.





Now was it the day after and we are on our way to the Wallis to eat dinner. Ray made meat and french fries, it tasted lovely. Their house was one of the nicest houses that I have ever seen in my life. They had everyting, a pool, a football court and much more. After we had eaten me and Noah played some football before it was time to get home to the hotel. We said thank you for the food and the evening and then we went to the hotel.

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park

Today is a very special day. Me and my family will go in to the rainforest och watch at the Tjapukai Aboriginal people dance och sing. Tjapukai Aboriginal is one of the world's oldest living cultures. 

Rugby

Today will me and the rest of my family go on a rugby match that i have wanted to see in a long time. The match starts at 4pm so we have around 3h to fix us and go to the game. The match is between FNQ Rugby and North QLD Cowboys so it's a derby and it will be a lot of people at the game. At the game the atmosphere was unbelievable, people from all over Queensland was there and it was over 50,000 people watching their favorite team play. The sun was out and it was a very good day to watch the rugby match.

At half time FNQ Rugby had 46 points and North QLD Cowboys had 34 so FNQ Rugby was in the lead.


The match was now over and it was really fun to watch and there was a lot of goals so it was eventful. FNQ Rugby won the match with 108-76 over North QLD Cowboys. After the match we went to McDonalds and after we had eaten we went home to our hotel in Cairns.

Hello Linda!

This is a greeting from me and a very beautiful and sunny Australia. How are you? everything is fine with me and i really love this journey to Austalia. The hotel is very beautiful and it has all the things that i could have dreamed of, a big pool, fantastic food och nice rooms. Today we have been to dunk island as you can see on the picture. It was fantasic, the sea was crystal blue and the hotel that we stayed in over the weekend was amazing. Tommorow should we go and watch a rugby match in Cairns between FNQ rugby and North QLD cowboys. That is the things that we have planned to do next on this journey before we leave Australia. I will be home in Sweden in 5 days so have a good time until then.

This is my itinerary for my journey that  I would like to share with you. I haven't done all the things yet.

February 22nd: Flight to Cairns.

February 23nd: We are still on the plane to Cairns.

February 24nd: Arriving to the hotel.

February 25nd: Been at the beach.

February 26nd: Been at the zoo.

February 27nd: We have played golf.

February 28nd: Shopping in Cairns.

March 1st: Been at the beach.

March 2nd: Going to Dunk island.

March 3nd: Snorkel in the sea.

March 4nd:Going home from Dunk island.

March 5nd: Meet a family called Wallis.

March 6nd: Going on a rugby match.

March 7nd: Flight home to Sweden.

           

        

My first day

  Today we landed in Australia. At the airport our relatives picked us up to drive us to the hotel. The hotel is called Pullman Cairns International and it's a five star hotel. When we arrived to Cairns we first checked into the hotel room and looked around at the hotel. After that we went to eat dinner on the restaurant downstairs at the hotel. After we had eaten dinner we went upstairs and slept.
